TripKit – Travel Assistant

By downloading, installing, or using TripKit (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the App. Continued use of the App after any updates to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
TripKit is provided for personal organization and informational purposes only. Features such as bag weight limits, currency conversion rates, and packing checklists are provided for convenience and reference.
Currency Rates: Exchange rates provided by the App are fetched from public third-party APIs. We do not guarantee the accuracy, real-time validity, or financial applicability of these rates. Always verify exchange rates with your bank or official financial institutions before making transactions.
All data you enter into TripKit — including packing lists, shopping budgets, and Vault contents — is stored strictly locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your data.
Secure Vault Liability: You are entirely responsible for remembering your Vault PIN. We cannot recover, reset, or bypass your PIN if you forget it. We are not liable for any lost booking references, addresses, or locked documents.
Data Backups: TripKit includes a JSON backup feature to export your lists and trip settings. To protect your privacy, exporting Secure Vault text (such as booking references and notes) requires you to enter your Vault PIN during the export process. If you choose to skip this step, the backup file will be created, but all Vault text data will be permanently excluded from that backup file.
Additionally, this JSON backup does NOT include photos stored in your Secure Vault under any circumstances. Uninstalling the App, clearing the App's data, or performing a factory reset on your device will result in the permanent, unrecoverable deletion of all Vault photos. You are solely responsible for maintaining secondary backups of important travel documents.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter into TripKit. The App does not verify flight times, booking numbers, or travel dates against live airline databases. Any errors, missed flights, or lost luggage resulting from relying solely on the App are your own responsibility.
Notifications & Reminders: Local trip and flight reminders rely on your device's operating system, battery optimization settings, and background task scheduling. We do not guarantee the timely delivery or execution of local notifications. You remain responsible for checking official airline schedules and arriving at airports on time.
TripKit is provided “AS-IS” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of data loss. We strongly recommend regularly backing up your critical travel documents outside of the App.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Builds by YD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of TripKit. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, missed travel arrangements, financial losses from currency discrepancies, or any other travel-related harm.
By using the App, you agree that your sole remedy for any dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it.
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or attempt to bypass any part of the App, including the Secure Vault encryption and PIN mechanisms. You may not distribute, resell, or sublicense the App or any portion of it.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
