1. Introduction

Welcome to Revonate. This Privacy Policy explains how Revonate (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) manages information when you use our Android application. We respect your privacy and design our applications around local data retention.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Revonate operates without requiring user account registration, login credentials, or cloud profile creation.

• No Central Server Storage: We do not operate external application servers that store your personal records.
• User Data: All information entered into the App—including home details, renovation expenses, vehicle specs (make, model, VIN, license plates, mileage), maintenance records, reports, to-dos, and reminders—is stored exclusively on your device in a local database.

3. Local Storage, Auto-Backup, & File Management

• Device Storage: Your data resides in local database files created on your device.
• Auto-Backup Feature: If enabled in the App settings or through Android's built-in system backup options, your device may create encrypted backup copies to your personal Google Drive or local storage. We do not have access to these backups.
• Export and Import Functions: If you use the export or import functions (such as generating CSV, PDF reports, or JSON backup files), these files are generated and stored directly on your device. We never transmit these files off your device.

4. In-App Purchases & Billing

Revonate may offer optional premium features through Google Play Billing.

• Payment Processing: Transactions are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see, process, or store your credit card details or billing address.
• Purchase Tokens: Google Play sends a secure digital token to the App to confirm that a premium license exists. This verification happens locally or via Google Play Services on your device.

5. Permissions Requested by the App

To deliver its features locally, Revonate may request specific device permissions:

• Notifications / Alarms: Required to send you scheduled reminders for home tasks and vehicle maintenance.
• Storage / File Access: Required only when you explicitly choose to export or import reports (e.g., PDF or CSV generation) or select backup files.

6. Third-Party Services

Revonate does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs, cloud user-tracking tools, or behavioral analytics frameworks. The only external system interaction occurs with Google Play Services for license verification and in-app billing.

7. Biometric & Device Security

If your device utilizes screen locks, passcodes, or biometrics (fingerprint/facial recognition), your local Revonate data benefits from your device’s native hardware-level encryption. We do not collect or access biometric data.

8. Data Retention & Permanent Deletion

Because all data resides on your physical device, you retain complete control over data removal. You can permanently erase all records at any time by:

• Clearing the application data in your Android system settings (Settings > Apps > Revonate > Storage > Clear Data), or
• Uninstalling the Revonate app from your device.

9. Children’s Privacy

Revonate does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, as the App does not collect personal data from any user.

10. Rights under CCPA & GDPR

Because Revonate does not collect, transmit, sell, or process personal data on external servers, there is no remote personal data for us to access, rectify, port, or erase. All management of your personal information remains strictly within your control on your Android device.

11. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.
